If there's one thing we've learned here at MTV Style, it's that for
every celebrity or musician we peep on the red carpet, there's an insanely
talented stylist behind them. And you know what? The job ain't easy!
They have the pressure of creating iconic looks time and time again,
which can make (or break!) a person's entire career.
It's time to finally get to know the names behind the oh-so-famous faces, so The Hollywood Reporter put together a list of the top 25 most powerful stylists in Hollywood. And, yay, some of our old faves (Johnny Wujek! Brad Goreski! Rachel Zoe!) managed to make the cut! But, old friends aside, there are definitely some need-to-know names on the list—one of them being Joseph Cassell (the dude responsible for all of Taylor Swift's
super chic looks). Taylor dished on Joseph saying, “There are times
that he will have just steamed a dress and put me in it, and he’ll crank
the seat all the way back in the car and make me lie down all the way
to the event so it doesn’t wrinkle before I get to the red carpet.”
Awwww! Now THAT'S dedication.
Another one you'll want to add to your
mental roster is Tara Swennen who styles Kristen Stewart. She said, "My curveball this year was at the Oscars when I found out Kristen needed to use crutches!
I spent the morning of the awards show searching for appropriate flats
