Alibaba, AY, Basket Mouth, Julius Agwu, Bovi & more Comedians to be Honored at the Upfront & Personal “The Corporate Elite” Boxing and Music Night – Sunday December 2nd 2012 | Win Tickets to the Event

For the sixth year running, Upfront & Personal would be holding  “The Corporate Elite” black tie event which would bring together the elites in the Nigerian corporate world. The event which is scheduled to hold in Lagos on Sunday 2nd December, 2012 would bring together under one roof, the “who is who” in the corporate world across Nigeria.

According to a rep from Upfront & Personal, the aim of the event includes:

• Harnessing business networks
• Celebrating/awarding “what is Great”
• Celebrating customers and partners
• Promoting brands amongst a carefully selected audience

In celebrating, “greatness”, the great men and women who have played a key role in developing the comedy industry across Nigeria will be recognised and awarded. The Comedians to be celebrated are Alibaba, AY, Tee A, I go dye, Klint the Drunk, Basket Mouth, Gordons, Omo Baba, Julius Agwu, Bovi and Teju Baby face.

Also to be unveiled at the event are Nigeria’s talented boxers who will be competing with a Ghanaian and an Algerian for a WBO belt.

Isaac Ekpo- Nigerian and West African Boxing Union Super Middleweight Champion will take on Mada Hamae Said while Sheriff Kareem (Nigerian) will take on Emmanuel Quartely (Ghanian) to compete for the West Africa Bantamweight title bout.

Waidi Usman will take on Dare Oyewole in a completion for the National title bout Featherweight and Kola Abimbola the Nigerian Champion will take on Akeem Dodo the Challenger in the National Welterweight title bout .

The MTN ultimate wonder winners will also be joining in toasting the year out in style whilst Eko Hotel will be unveiling a new addition to its elite environs. Also in attendance will be Nigeria’s Nollywood finest actors.

Three old school bands from the United States – SOS, Midnight Star and Cool & the Gang will be performing some of their hit songs to entertain the guests.  The event will not be complete without our finest Nigerian artistes namely – Sir Shina Peters, Timi Dakolo, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Jesse Jagz and more.
